【もう一度、英語をやり直そう】英会話日記(3/9) ～本八幡getgo英会話

今日は、振り替えで新しい生徒さんと二人でJosh先生のレッスンをうけました。
電話での受け答えのフリートークが中心の授業でした。

 【授業内容】
(1) 発音の仕方
 ・do you = ju
What did you do yesterday?
でdid you をju(ジュ）という。
What Sushi do you like ?
ワットスシジュユライクと発音する

・to come = t'come
ツカウムと発音

・for her = f'her
ファーと発音
"her"の頭の"h"の音は、通常「落として」発音する。

こちらのサイトをみると、herは発音しなくてもよさそうです。
(Josh先生に確認したところ、文中で使われている場合は、hを発音しなくってもよいが、文頭とかの場合はhは発音したほうが良いとのことです（h発音しないのは、知能が劣っている人が使うらしいです））

(2) 電話でよく使う会話 
・電話したときの最初の例
Could I speak to Sally Jones, please?
Is she in today?
・電話で伝言お願いする
Could I leave a message for her, then?
Tell her I'm meeting Jennifer tonight And I'd really like her to come.
⇒I'll  pass it on.(伝えておきます）

(3) 復習
Would you mind ～ing?

【宿題】穴埋め問題
